Why do you think Russia would invade the Baltic countries? They are members of NATO and an invasion of them would result in a major war involving scores of allied countries. Such a war would in no way benefit Russia. Have Putin or any Russian leader threaded the Baltic countries? I just did a check on ChatGPT and it says that no, there have been no threats. I think your anti-Russian animus is colouring your opinion.

The EU needs to come to a non-aggression pact with Russia, return to purchasing its fuel and selling it their products, and everyone mutually prosper. Europe needs to quit following Washington's drive to weaken Russia and to encroach on its security corridor.

Putin is megalomaniac and dreams of a big Russian empire which he reasons with "history", see: https://www.atlanticcouncil.org/blogs/ukrainealert/putins-history-lecture-reveals-his-dreams-of-a-new-russian-empire/)

Furthermore he is already acting upon the Baltic states with hybrid warfare, for example by destroying communication cables in the Baltic sea or by shutting down complete airports: https://www.euronews.com/my-europe/2025/01/03/police-in-finland-say-eagle-s-crew-detained-as-estlink-2-cable-damage-probe-continues ; https://estonianworld.com/security/finnair-suspends-helsinki-tartu-flights-for-a-month-airport-under-russias-hybrid-attack/

As the US is pulling out more and more out of Europe the incentives for Putin to become more active in the Baltic countries and eastern Europe in general are fairly high. And Putin has shown time and time again that you can't trust him. He doesn't want any good for Europe and I disagree with you that we should cooperate with Russia. Germany already did the mistake to cooperate with Russia for cheap gas but in the end it was Putin who shut down gas supplies and didn't care whether Germany would freeze - it wasn't Germany who cancelled the gas supplies. Putin mistakes trust as weakness and while I don't think he'll invade NATO territory in the close future, I wouldn't rule it out in the longterm if the US continue to pull out of Europe and seek closer relationships with Russia and on the other side Europe doesn't invest in it's own defense as it should. If we now gift him parts of Ukraine his imperial behaviour gets affirmed and he won't change. Europe has to act strong and not weak.
